🌐 International Internet Day 2025: Celebrating the Connection That Changed Humanity

Image
🌍 The Birth of the Internet Every year, InternationalInternet Day is celebrated on October 29 , marking 56 years since the first electronic message was sent between two computers — the moment that began the digital revolution. That first message, “ LO ,” sent between UCLA and Stanford University in 1969 , was meant to spell “LOGIN,” but the system crashed after the first two letters. Those two characters became the birth cry of the Internet — a network that now connects billions worldwide. The Internet began as ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) , a U.S. Department of Defense project in the late 1960s to ensure resilient computer communication. By the early 1990s, Sir Tim Berners-Lee developed the World Wide Web (WWW) at CERN, transforming a scientific project into the global information highway . 👉 Visit the first-ever website: info.cern.ch 💡 Why We Celebrate International Internet Day International Internet Day honors the innovation that re...

Section 74 of Indian Contract Act 1872 – Deals with liquidated damages, situations where the parties stipulate the amount of damages in advance. Jurisprudence built on Sections 73 & 74 of the Indian Contract Act was a necessary shield for the illiterate farmer against the extortionist landlord. The cours...
